Tomorrow, I get to go back to the doctor for an ultrasound. I went at 4w6d, and I didn't get to see anything because it was so early. Tomorrow, I will be 7w6d so we should be able to see the baby and hear a heartbeat. I am so anxious, and I have decided to stay off of baby websites and baby discussion boards. Each one forum turns into a discussion about miscarriage, and they stress me out! So I think I'll just avoid them!
In the mean time, Brett and I have decided on baby names. . . already! We have known the middle name of our first child would always be "Starr". "Starr" is Brett's grandmother's maiden name. If we have a boy, his name will be "Brody Starr". If we have a girl, her name will be "Addison Starr". We will just have to wait 12 to 14 weeks to find out!

Happy Father's Day!
Technically, Brett is not a father yet but. . . I couldn't resist getting him a father's day card and a gift. His gift was just a silly gag gift. I found a daddy diaper changing kit online and decided I could make my own. Brett has never changed a diaper, and the thought of it makes him sick. In his kit, I included:
- Mask to protect his nose and mouth.
- Safety goggles to protect his eyes.
- Gloves to protect his hands.
- Baby wipes for the clean up.
- Plastic bag for disposal.
- Diaper to finish the job. . .
He seemed to think it was pretty funny and guarantees he will be wearing it during his first diaper change!

Flashback 5k
On Wednesday, a few friends, Brett, and I did the Flashback 5k on the river front. We dressed up in our 80's attire, and we had a ball! Brett was a good sport and came with us, but he did not dress up! Although I walked, I do believe this will be my last 5k for awhile.

Our Anniversary
This post is a little out of order, but . . .
Brett and I celebrated our one year anniversary on June 5! We had a great anniversary weekend because we found out about our new arrival. We ate lunch together and visited my dad to tell him our great news. Brett and I also ate some of our wedding cake. I was not looking forward to eating a year old cake, but the cake was still very fresh.
The top of our wedding cake. . . still fresh!
Me eating the cake. I don't like cake, but I ate it!
Brett eating the cake. He loves cake and had two pieces!
